Covid-19

For more than 40 years, Roma Funeral Home has been proud to serve this community during times of loss. We understand that losing someone at any time is difficult, but during this pandemic, it can be even harder.

We are taking every measure here to ensure the safety of both your family and our staff. Therefore, during this trying time, we must put the following precautions in place in order to best serve everyone:

  • We can be still be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and our facilities remain open.

  • We are still scheduling visiting hours here at the funeral home. As per CDC guidelines, visitations will be limited to 50% occupancy. We are asking for everyone to be flexible with scheduling, we are trying to have only one family visit at a time.

  • With the current restrictions on gatherings, we are offering all families the option of a memorial service in the future to properly honor your loved one.

  • You do not have to come in to make arrangements. We can do everything over the phone, email or through a video conference. We will provide you with the same information and caring, while maintaining social distancing guidelines.

  • There are many changes to cemetery and church operations, and again, all are asking for your patience and understanding.

  • Per Executive Order, ALL visitors MUST wear masks or face coverings when inside the funeral home.  Anyone not following this  ruling will not be permitted to enter the building.  This is to protect both your family and our staff, and everyone's health is most important to us.

  • If visiting the funeral home, please:
    • Maintain social distancing
    • Clean your hands frequently
    • Please refrain from handshakes and hugs
    • Cover your coughs and sneezes
    • Keep your time limited at the funeral home
    • Come in contact with as little as possible

  • If you or a loved one has Covid-19, please do not come to the funeral home. We will make alternative arrangements to best assist your family. Also, if your loved one who passed away tested positive, please let us know that immediately.

We have always prided ourselves on making families feel comfortable here at the funeral home, and we will do our very best to continue serving you. We are hoping that your family stays healthy and safe.
